The West Dade Regional Library is more than just a unique building featuring lush indoor gardens and huge, sun-lit windows. Its also the heart of an active Westchester community. With its frequently changing exhibitions and displays, numerous study nooks, cozy story telling/puppet theater, and roomy programming, the library is the place to be.
The 54,000 square-foot building is the second largest library building. Within the building there are numerous computers with the latest online databases, the library catalog, interactive games for children, resume building kits, and lots of other software. Our collection includes over 200,000 books as well as videos, CDs, magazines, and newspapers. One special area is our large Spanish language collection. With over 25,000 titles it appeals to a wide variety of people. Children get special treatment at the West Dade Regional Library, too. In our upstairs childrens department decorated in a bright rainforest theme, theyll find a full range of fun and educational programs to encourage them to be lifelong readers. Come and visit soon!
